In the third episode of the podcast “Rytas” from Vilnius – acquaintance and open conversation with the director of the club from the capital, Justas Jankauskas. In the middle of the Jeep Arena site, together with interviewer Jonas Radzevičius, the head of Rytas revealed many internal aspects of the capital’s team in the nearly hour-long podcast.
The two points are launched this season
According to 32-year-old Jankauskas, the people who work in the administration experience all wins and losses as emotionally as the entire Rytas fan community.
“We really reacted, it is difficult to distance ourselves from what is happening in the media, in the comment sections. Still reading, someone from friends asks how you react here. Therefore, we have many such situations and we boil in the same way as all fans, – says the director of “Rytas”. – We ourselves would very much like the results to be better in order to move forward. We live by that faith, we are taking steps to base it not only on feelings and emotions, but also on actions that will lead to a better result and that we will be able to enjoy in the summer ”.
At this stage of the season, the director of the capital club has indicated the necessary communion so that we can move forward.
“It just came to our knowledge then. It is not just about the club, the administration, the players, because we are a great community, the owner of the capital club expects. – Our fans, sponsors, interested parties, the board: we are all in it. Same boat and we all want the same for the club to do well, move forward and raise the cup in the summer. That is everyone’s wish, and we are currently working to make this happen. “
Speaking of Team Morning’s current vision, it is emphasized that it is youth oriented.
“After the Champions League, we will sit down to talk about the future progress of the team for the end of this season and next, and the vision is very clear,” thinks Jankauskas. – A strong Lithuanian core, made up of young players, perhaps like this year. Of course, this season they may still have a hard time understanding and getting to know each other. However, this is the vision: a young Lithuanian core, players joining the youth pyramid and several strong foreigners ”.
