The European Parliament also calls for a Magnicki-type sanction mechanism: the EU Council is called upon to establish without delay a comprehensive, effective and timely EU-wide restrictive mechanism against any person, government and non-state actors and others responsible for violations serious human rights. or related to them.

The resolution notes that the EP calls for an independent and effective international investigation into the crimes of OMON and other Belarusian authorities linked to the deaths of Aliaksandr Taraikoussky, Aliaksandr Vichor, Arciom Parukov, Henadzy Shutav and Kanstantin Shyshmakov.
