David Sirvydis, who left Vilnius “Rytas” in the summer, would feel more and more confident in Israel.
This time, the Lithuanian led to victory in the quarterfinals of the Jerusalem Hapoel Israel Cup, where Sirvydis’s team 93:80 (19:22, 25:14, 28:16, 21:28) defeated Hapoel of Eilat.
Sirvydis, 20, was the most productive among the winners: 15 points (2/3 doubles, 3/5 trit., 2/2 penalty), 5 rebounds and 17 utility points in 30 minutes.
