A. Anušauskas had questions for D. Gaižauskas
The Minister of National Defense also reacted to Mr. Gaižauskas’s speech. A. Anušauskas called the “statesman” suspicions about the government’s intentional plan to infiltrate illegal immigrants simply as an interpretation.

At the same time, the Minister of National Defense recalled that in July the Seimas convened an extraordinary session, in which it approved amendments to the Law on the Legal Status of Foreigners, which created conditions to restrict certain rights of illegal migrants.
“I understand that waving swords after battle is common among us, and the best way to repel aggression is to not participate or contribute in any way. I will remind you that the Seimas met in July to amend the law. For example, you he was in at the time, he voted for that law ”, asked A. Anušauskas rhetorically.
ELTA recalls that at that time 84 members of the Seimas voted in favor of the bill, 1 against, 5 deputies abstained. Mr. Gaižauskas did not take part in the vote on the adoption of these amendments.
