As the head of government told LRT radio on Tuesday, this will be achieved by providing test algorithms in educational institutions and possible early vaccination of preschool and primary education teachers.
As discussed yesterday in a meeting with experts, the return of education, at least for young children, is undoubtedly a top priority for the Government. There are several tools that can facilitate this task, and yesterday they were presented by experts. These are certain test algorithms that would be applied in educational institutions, early vaccination of teachers, at least in preschool and primary education, ”said I. Šimonytė.
“And then we could talk about a safer return, at least for the little ones, because it is very difficult for the little ones to learn at a distance,” he added.
Following the announcement of the second quarantine at the beginning of November, the final year students learn at a distance and, as of January 4, this training also applies to primary students. According to the current government resolution, distance education must be completed by January 31st.
