Philadelphia 76ers team looking for a new job Benui Simmonsui, and the Australian made it clear to the club that he hadn’t changed his mind about wanting to leave.
The basketball player is reported to have informed the 76ers club that he will not be coming to training camp in preparation for next season.
Simmons, who severed all ties with most of the 76ers after last season, was linked to the San Francisco Golden State Warriors in the summer, but the clubs failed to agree on a basketball trade.
The first in 2016 the rookie average has spent his entire career in Philadelphia so far.
In the regular season, the 25-year-old 211 cm tall Australian scored 14.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.9 assists in 32 minutes.
In the playoffs, his productivity dropped significantly: 34 minutes, 9.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 8.6 assists. He made free throws with historically poor accuracy of 34 percent throughout the playoffs.
