The Prienai CBet team (7/13) withstood the assault of the rivals, issued decisive fines and took a difficult victory in the Betsafe-LKL match in Šiauliai, where 105: 99 (25:20, 31:22, 29:26, 20:31) broke “Šiauliai” (4/11).

The difference was reduced to 12 points, Arminas Urbutis and Eimantas Stankevičius added more penalties, and Ernestas Jonkus – three points, so the chances of recovering were good – 84:90.
Although the tandem of E.Tubutis and D.Domarkas began to restore the lead of “CBet”, Kaspars Berzinis and Martynas Varnas continued to push “Šiauliai” forward, so that one minute left the teams with 3 points – 96: 99. Prieniškės’s mistake and foul were costly: E. Stankevičius reduced the gap to a minimum (98:99), but in the free-throw section, CBet had more chances to shoot, eventually stepping towards victory.
Prienai’s club significantly outperformed their opponents in the fight under the basket: they grabbed 42 balls, while Šiauliai – 29.
For Ignas Sargiūnas, this is Betsafe-LKL’s best match so far – he scored 17 points in 19 minutes and scored 21 utility points. By the way, both parties before their utility was negative.
