Šiauliai Šiauliai won the first Mind Mindas Cup (KMT) stage match.
Points are earned this season
Antanas Sireika students at home 79:65 (22:19, 21:16, 18:16, 18:14) defeated the Klaipėda team “Neptūnas-Akvaservis” that competes in the NKL league and entered the second stage of the KMT.
The first mutual duel in Klaipeda, which took place on October 27, was sensationally won 87:82 by the students of Simonas Serapinas and had a 5-point lead before today’s duel.

With 5 minutes to go, Vaitkus scored three points and reduced the overall deficit of the two games to 4 points (53:62). Soon Urbutis took two attacks in a row, Gediminas Orelikas added a colon and restored a semi-secure 10-point lead in 2 minutes (77:62).
For the rest of the time, Serapino’s students failed to create a miracle and the people of Šiauliai entered the second stage of the KMT.
“Šiauliai” was led to victory by Orelikas, who gave a great performance. The forward, who returned from injury this season, scored 19 points (6/11 dvit., 2/6 trit., 1/1 penalty) in 36 minutes, bounced 8 and took 1 ball, made 5 assists and scored 24 utility points.
David Romanchenko did not save the young residents of Klaipėda from failure. The tallman scored 14 points (2/3 doubles, 3/3 trit., 1/1 penalty) in 30 minutes, bounced 4 balls, gave 3 assists and scored 19 utility points.
