As Arnas, who recorded the video, writes in his Facebook post, he noticed that a security guard at a Mindaugo Street store was leading a homeless person to the bathroom. Then from there he heard the sounds of the blows.
“I got up, opened the door, and there,” wrote the guy next to the uploaded post, while a security guard hits a homeless man.
According to Arno, who recorded the violence, the security guard, realizing that he had contributed seriously, pleaded for the video to be deleted.
Delfi.lt announces that the agents who came to the scene clarified the circumstances of the incident, but the beaten man had no claims against anyone.
He confessed to having been robbed, for which a protocol of administrative misconduct was drawn up.
Žydrūnas Bukauskas, Director of the Security Department of the Grifs AG Security Service, said that the security guard had been removed from work due to the incident and that an official inspection was underway.
By the way, this is not the first such incident to appear in public. In late 2017, a Grifs AG security guard brutally beat a teenager in a store. He was later prosecuted for violation of public order, found guilty but acquitted on bail.
