Word reached the Delfi editorial office that a young child had fallen out of the window in Lentvaris on Sunday and the boy’s parents were intoxicated during the event. After contacting the police, I was able to find out that such an event really was.

Two minutes later, the agents who arrived at the scene found the minor at home lying on the bed, deliberately. According to authorities, the parents said the boy himself opened the window and fell.
Doctors immediately took the boy and his mother to the hospital for an examination. According to police, the parents were intoxicated at the time of the incident and were found to be slightly intoxicated. According to preliminary data, the security forces did not know the people. The officials briefed specialists on the protection of children’s rights.
Vija Kudzienė, spokesperson for the protection of children’s rights, informed Delfi that before the specialists did not know the family.

The scared boy jumped out the window

A boy born in 2013 told officers who arrived at the scene that there was one in his home, that he was scared and jumped when the window was opened.
It turns out that the mother of the child (born in 1972), who returned home, was obviously intoxicated, categorically refused to establish drunkenness, did not answer questions.
The minor, accompanied by an aunt, was taken to the hospital with a fractured right femur. The boy was hospitalized.
This case is also known by professionals of the rights of the child. V. Kudzienė reported that the child’s care is currently being transferred to his aunt.
According to the spokesperson, the child rights workers knew the woman. According to preliminary data, the case management was carried out, the woman had successfully passed the case management plan, everything was completed and accepted the help provided.
