Among those who decided to withdraw were Jauhen Perlin, the host of the state radio and television company ATH, Belarus 1, Taciana Borodkina, who worked for CTV, and Aliaksandr Šuster, the host of the radio program.
“Congratulations to the country for the ‘choice’! Even now that the ‘choice’ has been made, I am not afraid, do not be afraid either. Do not take the future from your children!” – wrote T. Borodkina on Facebook.
Perlin called his statement “What happened to my Belarus?” And he said none of his shows now evokes the same emotions as before.
“I decided that my Belarus air 1 today was my last. No one influenced this decision, I made it myself, “he wrote.
Siarhejus Kozlovičius, the host of the show, also announced the decision to withdraw from ATN.
According to the portal tut.by, several employees of the First National Radio of Belarus, including A. Shuster and news anchor Tacian Filipchenko, are also resigning.
Some media have also reported the dismissal of the presenter of the television channel ONT, Olha Bohatyrevich.
A few days earlier, Vera Karetnikova and Andrei Makayenak, the hosts of the morning show, announced their retirement from Belarus 1.
