Seimas spokesperson Pranckietis joined the Liberal Movement

This was confirmed by both V. Čmilytė-Nielsen and the spokesperson for the Seimas spokesman Paulius Žeimys.

“The president of Seimas has decided to join the Liberal Movement even before the beginning of the new term. The parties that will now form the ruling coalition assume political responsibility, so with this election he sought to show that he wants to act actively, not be marginalized and be part of that collective responsibility, ”said his spokesperson in his comment.

The president of the Seimas became a member of the Liberal Movement last week. V. Pranckietis will belong to the Kaunas district branch of this party.

V. Pranckietis entered this Seimas together with the Union of Peasants and Greens of Lithuania. He left the Campesinos last year, when the president of this party, Ramūnas Karbauskis, demanded his resignation from the position of Speaker of the Seimas.
