Lawyer Dalius Gintautas, who has been tried for several crimes, recently became a suspect in another case, for violence against his young son. You have an obligation not to communicate with the victim and not to seek contact with him.

This suspicion was presented to the lawyer D. Gintautas after the interrogation of his six-year-old son by a judge before the trial. And the obligation mentioned above, after the mother of the victim has appeared before the law enforcement agencies, in an attempt to protect the minor from the persecution of the father who tries to influence him due to the investigation prior to the trial started.
According to Kauno Diena, the events in the new case of D. Gintautas took place last Christmas. According to his wife, the father abused his six-year-old son while intoxicated. After the incident, she claims to have left the house with the victim and an even smaller daughter on her feet. And she currently rents an apartment with children. Their father not only has not contributed to the maintenance of the children for four months, but has also replaced the locks on the doors of his apartment, where they left him alone.
According to Kauno Diena, the Bar Council was also informed about the suspicion of lawyer D. Gintautas after the violence against his young son. However, pretrial investigation officers only received a response that their report had been received.
According to his wife, the father was intoxicated six years ago.

Due to Mr. Gintautas’s high employment in defending defendants from other crimes in court, his own case, which has been pending in the Kaunas District Court for several years, has been difficult to criticize.
On Tuesday, it is planned to interview the spouse of D. Gintautas. However, D. Gintautas requested the dismissal to the court, which was rejected by the judge examining the case, Tatjana Butkienė.
Later, the defendant stated that he had to rush to a hearing to discuss the possibility of communicating with the children, which was a priority for him. And then, and only on the eve of this hearing, he concluded a contract (true, only on a computer) with an assistant attorney, who will now defend him in this case. Since this knowledge of the D. Gintautas case was obviously not made overnight, a break in the process was announced until mid-July.
Reconciling this date was difficult since all possible duplications with the defendant’s employment in the defense of other defendants in various courts in the country.
The charge: more than a hundred pages
As already written, the case of D. Gintautas, in which he is accused of illegal translation of economic, commercial, financial or professional activities, falsification of documents and negligent accounting, is being considered in the Kaunas District Court, the indictment spans 108 pages.
This legal flashback became a public secret last November, when D. Gintautas defended the accused in the same Kaunas District Court, who recently caused one of the most horrible cacti on his forehead, during which half of the team from infirmary who went to science were killed.
Mr. Gintautas’s own case was transferred to this court in December 2017. And the pre-trial investigation began in 2015, after officers from the Highway Police Board of the Kaunas County Chief Police Station They stopped to inspect the vehicle, whose driver presented a document that surprised them. This was issued by the Do-It-Yourself Vehicle Manufacturers Association, headed by D. Gintautas.
Almost a racket
During the pre-trial investigation, it became clear that D. Gintautas may have taken advantage of the flaws in the laws by changing the procedure for registering some vehicles. The association under his leadership registered DIY vehicles and ATVs without a permit issued by the Ministry of Transport. And he took the money for it.
First, those interested in advertising such services had to join the association and pay a membership fee. They were then issued vehicle numbers and registration and technical inspection certificates on behalf of the association. These documents are said to be valid for a couple of years, i. as long as those who acquire them can participate in public traffic.
A driver caught with traffic police officers with said document was administratively sanctioned. Although, like other witnesses who testified in court, D. Gintautas had already paid it to the association headed by the accused.
Deceived and the Bar Council?
In May 2018, D. Gintautas managed to get the court to return his case to the prosecutor, to clarify the accusation. In doing so, the case was referred to the courts in February 2019.
Not long ago, D. Gintautas revealed another face.
However, after taking advantage of the aforementioned break in his legal proceedings, D. Gintautas was able to become a lawyer. Although he had become an assistant attorney only six months before his case was first referred to court. No reaction was received from pre-trial investigative officers after reporting to the Bar Association.
Possibly taking advantage of this, D. Gintautas also declared war on the media: after Kauno Diena announced that his accused in the aforementioned case of a horrible car front rejected his services after the accusations against D.
