Professor VA Bumel alluded to virological warfare and named a rule forgotten by vaccine opponents

– Is there at least a theoretical possibility that there will ever be a vaccine that protects a person from coronavirus infection for a lifetime, not just a few months?

– I think the vaccines that are already used are very effective. Both Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca. Its efficiency reaches up to 95%. Since there is nothing in the world, we could measure 100 percent. Except the one who sits tall and looks at us. You probably know everything one hundred percent. And we only know for sure that once we are born we will actually die.

Clearly, we would like to get vaccinated against the coronavirus once every five years. However, this is not yet possible. I have already been vaccinated for the third time, eight months after the second vaccination. I checked: I have a lot of antibodies and I can hope to have a good bulletproof vest against the aggressive virus during global virological warfare. Because it is very similar to a virological war.

– Distrust of vaccines is partly due to the fact that vaccines developed very quickly. What would you say to those people?

– Okay, yes. Recently, many professionals have emerged who now know everything about everything. However, no matter how quickly the vaccines came out, they were all approved under current rules. Anyway, all people are right. But there is no one who is absolutely right. Opponents often emphasize the side effects of vaccines, but forget the basic rule: there is no medication without side effects. Even aspirin and whooping cough have it.

Sometimes they ask me what is the meaning of life. I answer that the meaning of life is to live. And if we live, we try as hard as we can. Therefore, if we follow this principle, then during a pandemic, as science suggests, we must be vaccinated so that this aggressive virus does not confront us.

– With the acceleration of vaccine production and the vaccination campaign about a year ago, there was some enthusiasm, even in the World Health Organization, that 70% of the population vaccines, will acquire herd immunity. Now, in Israel, in the United Kingdom, countries that have achieved impressive results, it is said that without 90 percent. the vaccinated population will be nothing. Why?

– Because this virus is very aggressive. And last year, no one could accurately predict that 70 percent. vaccinated populations will guarantee “herd immunity”. There are viruses for which such a public immunization rate is sufficient to calm them. However, viruses are creatures that live in contact with the cells of the human body. To make it as widely as possible, they mutate, they change. And some mutations become extremely aggressive.

See what that virus leaves in our body. Not only jelly, gel instead of lungs, but also other consequences that are difficult to get rid of even after recovery.

Although we already know it well, like a water mine. With the help of monoclonal antibodies, we know that we can adhere to the needle of a viral protein and neutralize it.

– In theory, given the principles on which vaccines are based, could a strain of COVID-19 be found that is capable of avoiding artificial immunity?

– If we could answer this question precisely, I would not be a biotechnologist and you would not be a journalist. We would prefer to apply to the field of astrology. Like I said, we can’t know anything 100 percent. However, what science knows so far about the virus allows the development of effective means to combat it. Even we at Biotechpharma are ready to develop new vaccines that work on a slightly different principle than what is now known. I still don’t want to name the technology.

– The intelligence of several countries is working on skins to determine the origin of COVID-19. What do you and your team of scientists think that the hairy human hand contributed to its creation before the virus appeared in 2019, especially seeing that the virus seems to mutate perfectly?

– I dont know. But I am more inclined to believe that the origins of COVID-19 are in line with Charles Darwin’s theory and are further from human hands, whether they are hairy or not. I am a scientist and I know how it works in the field of biotechnology, in the production of medicines. The first principle is safety, the second is quality. These rules are followed very strictly.

On the other hand, I have a cat at home. You can also have coronavirus. However, his coronavirus is cat. Can we say with certainty that he will never pass it on to the people? No. Because viruses are God’s creation.

– You have said that Biotechpharma researchers could develop drugs from COVID-19 if the efforts were supported by the Lithuanian government. Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė showed that she had heard the signal. Did the cooperation somehow get out of place, or did the traditional words of power remain in words?

– I do not want to assess the performance of the Government. It is said that the government of Saulius Skvernelis went wrong, that the office and work of Ingrida Šimonytė are incredible. I think the current government is doing quite well, insofar as it is in a situation where it has to deal with both a pandemic and illegal migration, among other problems.

It only seems to me sometimes that certain things are affected by our supposedly small state complex. That we cannot create anything ourselves. That is why when we talk about investing in innovation we are allocating 60 million. EUR and we divide them into three directions … And what is 20 million. EUR? Any. Biotechpharma has recently invested $ 50 million. euros in its development, but it is missing. We have ideas to build several factories and possibly a genetic research center that could be strategically important in the future.

Now we are working with Europeans, with Americans, and we hope that this cooperation will be successful.

Regarding the discussions with the Government, it was taken into account that if the current vaccine manufacturers lacked production capacity, Biotechpharma could also contribute to the production of vaccines in Lithuania. Meetings were held with the representatives of these companies, the European Union, and it became clear that no additional production was needed in Lithuania.

However, he would be in no rush to accuse the government of doing a bad job. They work, the easiest thing to criticize and say is how it would “work” sitting on the couch and watching TV.
