E-mail address: @ vrni.lt is used instead of the suffix @ vmi.lt, and the links indicated in them lead to the Internet scam server, which provides a mock connection to STI information systems. In this way, under the guise of the STI, scammers may be trying to collect data on the population’s connection to online banking.

The STI draws the attention of the population to the fact that the STI e. email addresses end in @ vmi.lt. It should also be noted that when reporting on the rejection of the submitted annual income statement, the tax administrator indicates the reason (deficiency) for which the document was rejected.
