After GR3
The first sections of speed did not produce major surprises. V.Žala and A.Malniekas mined to the bottom and already in the first section of speed GR1 separated from M.Samson and E.Snitkas 10 sec. In other speed sections, the Agrorodeo duo further increased their lead and led GR3 for nearly 20 seconds.
Results after GR3
The GR2 surprise was presented by V.Jurkevičius and A.Paliukėnas, who switched from a 2WD R2 car to a Škoda Fabia R5 – they were second in the section.
And GR1 had a bit of bad luck for Karolis Raišis with Ilya Zakman, because the rear brake caliper got stuck. I had to stop, dismount and only then could I continue the race.

Speed and schedule sections
The rally started on Saturday morning at 8pm. An official opening ceremony of the event was held in Zarasai, Sėlių Square, where the service area was established. Immediately afterwards, the participants moved on to the speed sections.

There are 13 scheduled for Saturday, in total, the crews will have to travel 106 km in this race, and at the junctions between the speed sections they will have to travel another 216 km.

The last part of which you will wind the kilometers of the legendary Stelmužė speed section will be the evening, which promises many beautiful images for the spectators of the “Samsonas Around 7 Lakes Rally” and a lot of tension and adrenaline for the athletes.
The competition is scheduled to close at 10 p.m.
