“Currently, we have no information on when the third shipment of vaccines will arrive in Lithuania,” Vytautas Beniušis, a SAM spokesman, told BNS on Wednesday.
Lithuania has so far received two shipments of vaccines manufactured by BioNTech and Pfizer, a total of 20 thousand. 475 doses.

He added that SAM does not currently have data on how many doctors have been vaccinated since the vaccination process began in the European Union on Sunday.
According to V. Beniušis, the lists of vaccinated doctors consist of five main hospitals in the country.
“They compile lists of doctors who need to be vaccinated and distribute the vaccines to hospitals in their region that treat COVID-19 patients. Doctors are vaccinated at 41 medical institutions in Lithuania,” said a SAM spokesperson.
