Certified rapid in vitro diagnostic tests for COVID-19 antigens from the US manufacturer ACRO BIOTECH are sold online. A one-time test in Maxima stores costs 2.99 euros.

According to the retail chain, as of today, rapid COVID-19 antigen tests can be purchased at the Maxima store in Vilnius Akropolis and all XXX format stores, and will also appear in XX format stores in the near future.

The number of tests is limited at the moment, but according to Ernesta Dapkienė, director of Maxima’s Communication and Image Department, in the long term more COVID-19 antigen tests will be sold in more Maxima stores.

“Until”: the first available tests are redeemed immediately.

Retail chain Iki is expanding the range of these tests and will start selling them in all Iki stores over the weekend. According to Vaida Budrienė, Iki’s communications manager, the first rapid antigen tests for professional use on the retail network were redeemed as soon as they went on sale.

“Initially, we started selling rapid antigen tests in the bigger Iki stores and in the ‘black’ municipalities, but there was a lot of demand. We practically presented the first tests in two days, so we completed the quantity,” says V. Budrienė.

You can check for coronavirus infection by purchasing the text message in the store. Rapid Antigen Test provides an initial diagnostic result in as little as 10-15 minutes. According to the communication chief, this measure should help stop the spread of the virus and control the pandemic. The price of a test in Iki stores is 6.99 euros.

Singclean IVD COVID-19 Antigen Detection Test Kits are available at Iki stores. A saliva sample is required for the test. Commercial tests meet the requirements of in vitro diagnostic devices. These tests are for professional diagnostic use only.
