“I submitted my application in private, the tests carried out on Friday and Sunday mornings were negative,” R. Šalaševičiūt reported to reporters in the Seimas on Tuesday.

She said she had received new tests after receiving expert advice because the test in early November was negative and last week it was positive.

“The specialists I worked with warned me that it would be a mistake and appropriate to repeat the tests,” said the MP-elect with the “peasant” list.

According to her, self-isolation is no longer necessary for all those who have had contact with him, including the Minister of Agriculture, Andrius Palionis, and the Minister of Social Security and Labor, Linas Kukuraitis.

“The family doctor also closed the sick leave sheet and freed us all from self-isolation, both myself and Minister Kukuraitis, Minister Palionis and those who worked at the Seimas Chancellery,” said R. Šalaševičiūtė.

The Seimas Chancellery announced last week that a coronavirus had been identified for “another” member of the Seimas.

R. Šalaševičiūtė confirmed that he had received a positive response from BNS, but said that he did not feel any symptoms.

R. Šalaševičiūtė due to the positive response received, A. Palionis and L. Kukuraitis did not participate in the first session of the Seimas elect on Friday due to contact with her.
