Domantas Sabonis was next to the triple-double, and the Indiana Pacers (17-21), represented by the Lithuanians, collapsed in the last quarter of the NBA away game 106: 121 (32:32, 24:33, 35:22, 15:34) landed the Denver Nuggets led by Nikola Jokičius (23-16).

For the losers, Sabonis scored 10 points (5/10 dvit., 0/1 trit.) In 31 minutes, he bounced 9 balls, made 10 assists, made two errors and fouled three times.
Almost three minutes before the end of the game, Sabonis was preparing to fight for the ball after Nikola Jokičius’ free throws, but was interrupted after a conversation with Pacers head coach Nate Bjorkgren.
According to Pacers critic Scott Agness, Bjorkgren decided to put Sabonis on the bench and the Lithuanian wanted to finish the game. He only missed one rebound for a triple-double.
“This is the first time this season that I have seen a Pacers player dissatisfied with the coach’s decision,” Agness wrote.
Sabonis’s knee will hurt for a few days, but luckily for FC he will be able to finish the game. Sabon was replaced by Aaron Holiday.
The remaining players of the Pacers starting five left the field a minute and a half before the end of the game.
The Pacers have lost seven times in the last nine games and are 10th in the Eastern Conference.
In the second half of the match, Sabonis was hit in the face with the elbow of Michael Porter, but was able to continue the match.
On the Pacers, Myles Turner blocked at least one consecutive pitch in 54 games and repeated Jermaine O’Neal’s record in club history. This time Turner blocked 5 pitches.
For the winners, Nikola Jokičius scored 32 points in 34 minutes (9/21 double, 2/4 trit., 8/10 penalty), bounced 14 balls and had 5 assists.
The Indiana team was Malcolm Brogdon, who scored 24 points in 33 minutes (6/10 doubles, 3/6 trit., 3/3 penalties), 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
The Nuggets led most of the game, but in the second half of the third quarter, the Pacers held a five-point lead (79:74).
However, the Nuggets started the fourth quarter on a 22: 2 streak, gaining a 16-point lead (109: 93) and winning.
