Russian theater and film actor Vladimir Korenev died

V. Korenev was born in 1940. June 20 in Sevastopol. His father was an officer, so he often had to move from one place to another. The future actor spent his childhood in Izmail, Ukraine, after which he moved with his family to Tallinn, Estonia. Already in school he attended a theater group.

1961 V. Korenev graduated from the Lunacharsky State Institute of Theatrical Art (now GITIS) in Moscow and worked at the K. Stanislavsky Dramatic Theater in Moscow (now Stanislavsky Electric Theater). She has performed in many theatrical performances: “Opera for three sculptures” by B. Brecht, “Living Inanimate” by L. Tolstoy, comedy by E. Rostan “Sirano de Bergerac”, “Summer House” by M. Gorky, “Auditorium” by N. Gogol, representations according to M Bulgakov’s “Dog’s Heart”, “Moliere” and “Master and Margarita” and many others.

V. Korenev also filmed in cinema. He made his episodic debut in The Life Passed Away (1958). But what made him most famous was the science fiction movie Amphibious Man, in which he played the title role in Ichtiandro. He has also starred in films such as Los Niños de Don Quijote (1965), Noise for Nothing (1973) and others. His last role was in the series Orlova and Alexandrov (2015). In total, the actor has starred in more than 50 movies and series.

From 1990 to 2010 In the mid-19th century, V. Korenev was the artistic director of the Theater Faculty of the Institute of Humanities and Information Technologies.

V. Korenev’s wife and daughter are also actresses at the Stanislavsky Electric Theater.
