“Taking into account the military and political situation in the Republic of Belarus, the country’s president decided to conduct the second stage of the joint Belarus-Russian exercise” Slavic Brotherhood 2020, “the ministry reported.

The maneuvers have been carried out in Belarus for more than a month after protests over the August presidential elections, which were won by the autocrat Aliaksandr Lukashenko. The opposition and the West consider the election rigged.
