The Department of Prisons (KD) under the Ministry of Justice reports that today, May 16, the second of the two convicts who escaped from the Pravieniškės Penitentiary Center-Colonia Abierta was also arrested.
Rolandas Kazakevičius was detained in Pakruojis district by the criminal intelligence officers of the Department of Prisons together with the police.
Egidijus Žilinskas was arrested yesterday in Kaunas, recalls the KD report.

The Department of Prisons wishes to thank the Kaunas District Prosecutors, police officers and the State Border Guard Service, with whom they cooperated and exchanged information and quickly searched for the deceased convicts.
Convicted by the disciplinary group, Egidijus Žilinskas, born in 1996, and Rolandas Kazakevičius, born in 1974, left the prison dormitory on the night of May 14 after breaking the window bars and climbing the fence of the security perimeter of the institution.
