“We already provide cremation services today, coordinate the schedule with funeral companies that have experienced inconvenience due to an untimely cremation, as well as renew the registration of new orders,” said Bernardas Vilkelis, Director of the Lithuanian Crematorium.

As it turned out 15 minutes, the fault was fixed in the line management, the equipment suppliers eliminated it, and the crematorium was able to resume services earlier than promised.

It is estimated that around 50 planned cremations were not carried out due to failures.

In addition, in the near future, according to the Lithuanian Crematorium, the second line will be launched, for which the planned prevention is currently being completed. This line was suspended for scheduled service a few weeks ago.

So next week the crematorium is scheduled to function at full capacity: up to 200 cremations can be performed with two lines per week.

The crematorium at Kėdainiai has two cremation lines that can incinerate up to 10,000 deceased per year.

It is planned to open a new cremation line (project works are currently being prepared), then it will be possible to incinerate up to 15,000 deceased persons in the Lithuanian crematorium per year.

15 minutes Remember that the discontinuation of the cremation service was announced from November 9 to November 8, during the weekly monitoring of the line, the malfunction of the cremation line was observed and it was assumed that it would be possible to eliminate it in a week.

At the same time, the second line did not work: prevention was carried out. This is the case when the activity of the only crematorium in Lithuania has come to a complete halt, the first in the history of the company that has calculated the record for crematoria carried out this year.
