“There are those who really do not understand those things, some are even preparing to go up from the second floor through the balcony, because they think how can it be that they are not allowed to leave,” Jonyla told BNS on Friday.

“When people need to be relocated, where they are sick, where they are healthy, these are the biggest noises, the biggest problem is that they need to be relocated,” he said.

According to the director of administration, such behavior of the pavilions makes work very difficult.

“Not everyone realizes that these measures are necessary, they imagine that there is nothing here. This makes the work very difficult even today, when we talk to the deputy of the residence, he says that sometimes they don’t even know what to do, sometimes they even want to call the police, ”said E. Jonyla.

According to him, the situation in the Blinstrubiškės nursing home, where the coronavirus was detected for the head of the institution, is complicated, but it is good that there are no serious patients.

“It is a very difficult situation, thank God there are no serious patients,” said the director of the municipal administration of the Raseiniai district.

So far, 145 cases of coronavirus have been identified in Blinstrubiškės nursing homes: 44 employees and 92 wards have been infected, as well as nine related cases.

According to E. Jonyla, the institution currently has about ten high-risk contacts and about 30 low-risk contacts.

The Blinstrubiškės welfare home has a total of approximately 200 wards and approximately 120 employees.
