In addition, depending on the situation and the hydrometeorological conditions, preventive meetings of the Emergency Commissions would be initiated, as appropriate, to discuss flood preparedness issues.

Before the flood starts, residents are advised to make sure there is enough food, clean water, matches, and firewood for a few days.

All electrical wiring must also be well insulated to avoid short circuits. Take vegetables, food, valuables out of basements, and lighter items that can be damaged by water can be taken to upper floors, shelters.

And if you decide to go to a safer place, before leaving the house, you must open the water and gas valves, turn off the electricity, collect documents, valuables, essential items, food, medicine, close the door.
