Lovers of injured animals took the initiative to explain more dog breeds and discovered hot spots in Tauragė, Kėdainiai, Širvintos, Kaunas district. In some places, the living conditions of the animals seemed tragic.

Volunteers affected by dog ​​neglect often behave disproportionately, enter foreign territory, use physical force and make noise during off hours. According to the police representative, Ramūnas Matonis, if a criminal act is suspected, it should be reported to the police. According to him, volunteers should not decide problems for themselves, because such actions can be held responsible.

As of September 5, 6 pre-trial investigations have been initiated. Since the beginning of the year, around 70.

“If a person damages other people’s private property, property, invades the house without any grounds, uses physical force, there is a responsibility for it. Liability for infractions of the law is also established: noise, barricades, infractions of traffic regulations, public order ”, says R. Matatonis.

“If you suspect a crime or a violation of the law is being committed, you should call 112, call the officers and they will resolve the matter upon arrival. If a crime is committed there, officers have the right to enter the property private without any sanction without the permission of the owner. People really shouldn’t trespass on other people’s private property, damage, break property, use physical force, “he says.

It is due to the actions of such volunteers that the police have received several statements, says R. Matonis. It is true that pre-trial investigations for cruelty to animals are also underway.

“If it is confirmed that a crime is being committed, the police can initiate a pre-trial investigation into cruelty to animals. As of September 5, 6 pre-trial investigations have been launched. Since the beginning of the year – about 70.” says a police representative.

The SNB reports that crippled and dead animals have been found in illegal kennels. About a hundred and a half animals were handed over to care organizations.
