In the management of the streets, a rainwater collection system will be installed, pedestrian and bicycle lanes will be reconstructed, a network of public lighting with LED lights will be installed, new benches, wastebaskets and landscaped greenery will appear.
Slopes with concrete or asphalt blocks not less than 3.5 m wide will be designed for patios and other areas close to the street.
In total, it is planned to lay more than 2 km of asphalt concrete pavement, more than 3.3 km of pedestrian and bicycle lanes. All solutions are adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.
According to the Kulautuva elder Dalia Šiušienė, the land owner gave his consent to use his land after the works were cultivated again.
“The project has been coordinated with all the necessary institutions and the building license for the works has been obtained. The location of the site is also coordinated with the apartment building on V. Augustausko str. 1 representative and with the owner of the farm Petrauskas R. Petrauskas (Kranto str. 1) ”, – assured the old man.
The works are carried out only on weekdays, from 7 to 18 hours, trying to cause the least possible inconvenience to the neighbors and guests of the town.
