According to the MP, tax inspectors should also be interested in this story, as questions arise about whether the politician’s property was legally acquired.

“The head of the company, who carried out the work on the house of J. Narkevičius, claims that the repair work on the house was paid for with the awarded public tenders. As announced, the bankruptcy administrator of the company found no payments to this Narkevičiai family company. Then the question arises: with what money was the renovation of the house financed? Perhaps there were more J. Narkevičius personal projects, for which payment was made in kind? ”- A. Bilotaitė asks questions in the distributed report.

In the letter to the State Tax Inspectorate, the Seimas member requests to establish the origin of the assets and income of J. Narkevičius and his family members.

Last week, the LRT Investigation Division released information that the Minister of Transport and Communications J. Narkevičius, who previously acted as Deputy Director of the Vilnius City Municipality Administration, may have repaired his residential home at the expense of companies that had won municipal procurement bids.

J. Narkevičius denies the allegations, claiming that he has all the evidence that the allegations against him of possible corrupt activities are unfounded.
