Exemptions in ring municipalities

The quarantine change document, which was approved by the Government on Wednesday, proposes to allow the movement of people within the “circular” municipalities: people living in the city and the adjacent district of Alytus, the city and the district of Kaunas , Klaipeda city and district, Panevezys city and district, Siauliai city and district, Vilnius in the city and district municipalities, moves between the specified contiguous municipalities.

The circular municipalities are the municipalities that surround the main cities of the country that are not part of those cities. This means that the district has a separate municipality. It is this movement that will be released.

These instructions will go into effect on Thursday.

The restrictions on movement between municipalities remain in effect until March 15.

The use of masks

The order of use of the masks is also changed. The government-approved quarantine change document states that mandatory protective measures covering the mouth and nose and wearing masks in open spaces are waived when there are no other people within a radius of 2 meters.
