The second semi-final of the UEFA Champions League took place on Thursday in Lisbon, in which RB Leipzig unexpectedly beat Atlético de Madrid 2: 1 and advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament.
The first half of the game was tough and neither team managed to gain an advantage.
RB Leipzig took the lead in the second half, with Dani Olmo scoring in the 51st minute.
Atletico player Joao Felixas was shown the yellow card at 58 for a hard tackle from the ground. Portugal had a penalty in the 71st minute, which was perfectly executed by Portugal.
After 88 minutes, RB Leipzig had a good chance to cut the score for Tyler Adams with an opportunity created by the middle, but not great enough. The ball hit by the American hit the opponent’s defender and crashed into the goal net.
