Evita is the daughter of Vitalijus Cololo, a famous comedian who traveled to Anapilin last year. Blind auditions of “The Voice of Lithuania” were filmed in the summer, even before the painful news of the loss of V. Colol, which shook all of Lithuania. But the girl did not abandon the music. Rather, she wants to share it with as many people as possible and reach even the most closed hearts with her voice.
Evita, who was interviewed by us last week, said it took her a week to recover and realize that she had become the winner of the Lithuanian Voice project. “The whole week after the final was full of emotions, discomfort and the realization that I had won, it finally came when things had receded and I returned to my normal rhythm for the day,” says the girl.
After the victory, two of Evita’s original singles have already started and an album is planned for the near future.
According to the interpreter, her path in the project “The voice of Lithuania” was everything: there were happy moments and painful disasters. But now she is happy to have decided to participate in this project. Her mother and singing teacher encouraged her to take this step, Evita herself, although she wanted to try her luck, thought that there would be nothing good in it. Or maybe you did not dare to try … In the television project, the audience is very large, you are watching from all corners of Lithuania, even someone is criticizing you. For a long time, she was not ready to accept criticism, negative comments, comments. But this time he thought: he’s eighteen now, graduated from school, when else, if not now? You need to take a risk and try.
“My path in the” Voice of Lithuania “project was everything, I finally appeared in the final. It is a great achievement for me to have gone so far and even defeated. I would say I did something significant,” says E. Cololo.
One is what viewers see on television, the other is behind the scenes of the project, the so-called kitchen, which can scare those who do not know it. Evita was not intimidated by this, because she had known the internal television project industry since childhood: she and her father had to participate in all kinds of shows. Then there was nothing unexpected. The main thing on television, according to her, is perfectionism, so that everything is good for everyone, so that the participants are adequately prepared.

The girls had a lot of fun communicating with the teacher Justinas Jarutis: when choosing the songs, she always took into account her opinion, both always found a compromise. All the teachers of the project, as well as J.Jarutis, are very young, great, you can communicate with them as friends. There was no fear of asking someone or expressing their opinion, there were no instructions to sing the song even though he did not stay.
“The most important thing I got during the project was communication, new acquaintances, musical knowledge,” says Evita. “I am in close contact with several of the participants and now. This is more beneficial than winning a cash prize. Material things have never been very important to me. Of course, now it is that notoriety that I am a little afraid of. but you’ll have to adapt to it. It feels good to win and be appreciated because I’ve been working on it for many years. “
It is curious that some people think that Cololo is my pseudonym that I took care of my father. And Dad often faced that. Now I will have to live with that last name, continue to glorify it.
The winner of the project “Lietuvos balsas” comments on her performances on the Internet at the beginning of the project, after the first shows. It was interesting what the audience formed about it, because she knows very well that she can look very serious or even angry. Later, they read the comments less and less, because there is no point in bringing out their bad emotions, spoiling their mood all day. Evita feels supported by people and loved ones, and this encourages her to indulge in music.
The exams were not hampered
When asked what her musical path has been so far, the singer says: “When I was little, maybe ten, my parents wanted me to sing in the choir, but I really didn’t like singing with everyone and I said that I wanted to sing alone. music teacher, Ronata I started singing that song and she wouldn’t let me go; we kept working, she perfected me, and after a while my competition started, but I started to understand music when I was fourteen years old: I understood what I was doing and how , and what is the meaning and significance of that, and music has become an integral part of my life. “

The project “Voice of Lithuania” ended before the start of the high school exams. E.Cololo has already passed the music exam, Lithuanian and English language skills have not yet been assessed.
“In fact, the exam preparation project did not bother me at all, because I always studied very well and I will not need a special effort to pass the exams,” says the girl. “Maybe I’m a little worried about the Lithuanian language test, one, so I’m a little scared of writing that essay. I think I’ll have to practice. And okay, some kind of special test preparation won’t be necessary.”
He will continue his musical career
The graduate is a little sad because due to the quarantine, the lessons in the final months of study were conducted remotely, as twelfth graders will no longer return to school. She herself says that both teachers and friends have desired them during those months, and communicating and contacting a person live and remotely are completely different things.
After the exams, Evita plans not to study or study anywhere; He will try to focus on music and continue his musical career. Admittedly, not long ago I was planning to graduate from school to study acting, but now the plans have changed. “Now I want to relate my future to music, that is the main realm that fascinates me and I am capable of doing. I think it is never too late to study, I can enter a year,” says the girl, “so maybe not I will study this year. ” And when the situation in the family changed, I completely gave up the idea of studying abroad. I want to be in Lithuania, closer to the family. quite the opposite. It would be difficult for me to live in the hustle. The only hope is that he can always come back here whenever he wants. “

E.Cololo is an active girl, and has always found activities. A few years ago, she was the president of the Druskininkai Interact youth club.
“My father belonged to the Rotary Club Druskininkai, and Interact was a similar junior club. We carried out charity activities, tried to help various organizations, organized events, and projects. However When I started studying in the twelfth grade, I became less and less involved in that activity, and when my period ended, I chose someone else to lead the club. When asked what Evita is like, the girl says that she can be very serious and very funny. It is very sensitive, emotional. She says she has a flaw: Sometimes she likes to lead, and when she thinks her opinion or suggestion is correct and others disagree with her, she is very angry.
But for the most part, she is peaceful and agrees with everyone. It’s just that not everyone gets very close, so there aren’t many close friends who know her well.
In an interview a few years ago, E. Cololo said that his entire family is infected with the fun lifestyle virus: It is easier to overcome all of life’s worries by looking at them with humor.
