Following the instructions of the Government and controlling the movement of people between municipalities, Klaipėda officials organized an inspection at the Klaipėda train station. The police officers checked whether the people who planned the trip had a serious reason for traveling by train from Klaipeda.

Out of several dozen passengers, only one failed to convince officials that he had a good reason to visit Klaipeda. Although the boy was allowed to travel home, his travel ticket “went up.” A fine of 500 euros has been imposed on a city guest for violating the quarantine (half of the minimum fine is imposed for the first time, – Delfi’s observation).

“About 30 passengers were searched. One of them arrived without a justifiable reason: a week ago he came from Radviliškis to look for work for a friend, but he did not provide any justifiable proof of the reasons. Administrative proceedings have been instituted against him. Other passengers gave Justifiable reasons: some go home, some go home from work, study in Vilnius or come home after studying. These raids will be carried out constantly, ”says the city of Klaipėda. Head of the Investigative Police Station Ričardas Šėgžda .

One after another, raids will take place not only at the train station. According to the official, the bus passengers will also be checked. Raids at the entrances to the city are already common, but even if you manage to descend, you can expect a costly surprise in the city: the reinforced forces will be patrolling during the holidays.
