On Friday, after the dissemination of a publication by a woman on the social network Facebook, about the discovery of unenviable conditions: dogs of various breeds locked in small cages, without food or water, the services arrived at the place. Although the conclusions of the State Food and Veterinary Service (SFVS) are pending, representatives of the Nuaras animal shelter have taken action: the four-legged animals have already been taken from the place turned into a real hell and delivered into their hands.
Services (officials, SFVS specialists and representatives of Nuaro have been working on site for some time) in Kretinga district, Padvarių village, Slyvų street, in a building reminiscent of a warehouse. The documents are signed to remove the quadrupeds that are kept here.
“We will take all the dogs, we will put them in the car, we will fill out the paper,” a representative of Nuaro, caring for animals, rushed to go to the portal reporters.
When asked if the owner of the building had arrived at the scene, the interlocutor said that he had arrived, opened the door of the building and spoke with specialists from SFVS.
Many indignant people gathered on Slyvų Street. They demanded that many dogs kept in small pens without food or water be immediately removed from the unsanitary conditions.
The aforementioned terrible situation significantly angered the representatives of the Klaipėda Nuaro region.
“As soon as we received a private message from the speaker, we immediately ran to the kennel, which we have known for many years. We are very happy that the organizations that have met this time have joined. So far the SFVS does not see any harm to animals here. We are all trying to persuade them to take a closer look! We believe that animals cannot stay here even for the weekend‼ ️ In our opinion, some animals are in danger of dying. The conditions clearly do not meet any standards. Some animals have chips and are registered in the name of other people! We hope that this time this abscess will survive forever! And the animals will not return. We promise to do our best, “they wrote on Facebook.
We’ll take all the dogs, put them in the car, fill out the paper.
However, the objective has been achieved: the quadrupeds have been freed from unsanitary conditions and will be housed in the Nuaro Animal Shelter, where they will be cared for, pending the findings of the SFVS.
When journalists from the portal contacted SFVS specialists, they did not comment on the situation, stating that an inspection is currently being carried out at the aforementioned place, Kretinga district, and advised to call later.
We remind you that in the Kretinga district, Padvariai village, a woman who missed her friends’ puppy found it in a nearby kennel that was operating illegally.
The woman who reported the incident to the police shared her experiences on her Facebook account. On Thursday, I was missing a friend of the Scottish Terrier. Near the place where the four-legged had disappeared, she heard the barking of many dogs, and when she approached the building she saw her puppy in a cage.
“We saw a really scary picture, we were all shocked. Many dogs were incarcerated in the warehouse type building, all of whom were breeding. The picture was bleak. Shrunken and scared dogs are kept in horrible and unsanitary conditions in small pens, without water. no food. There was terrible urine in the room, fecal fumes, shortness of breath and shortness of breath. Barns with dogs are arranged on several floors, where some dogs barely fit. Dogs are not cared for, stained with their own feces, thrown away in the urine flakes between the bars, ”the woman shared.
According to the story, the hostess of the farm came later and explained that the dog had found her lost and protected her, and then went looking for her owners.
The summoned policemen captured the view and demanded that the hostess hand over the validation documents to the kennel.
“The woman claimed that she had not managed to fix the documents, but she intended to do so soon,” Arūnas Pužauskas, head of the Kretinga district police station, said on Friday. – 24 different breeds of dogs were found on the premises. We are coordinating with the bloodthirsty when we can go there. “
Authorities found Beagles, Scottish Terriers, Poodles, Golden Retrievers, French Bulldogs and other breeds of dogs. The woman who found her pet here believes the dogs may have been stolen from the owners.
The police and police hope to learn about these and other circumstances together with the veterinarians.
Not all cages had water, fans, and gutters to drain urine. Specialists will determine if animals are being housed properly, or perhaps cruel treatment of animals may be observed in this area.
“I would like a person to get permission first and only then to start activities,” said A. Pužauskas.
