ESPN reports that the NBA is negotiating an agreement with the players association to include a putting contest during the long recess of the All-Star game.
In addition, the regular three-point and skills competitions will also take place on March 7. All this will happen in one night, although traditionally this event has become a project for a long weekend.
Final agreements between the NBA and the players’ association for the All-Star celebration should be announced this week.
The league’s plan to host this event in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic was welcomed by the NBA’s brightest stars, Domantas Sabonis also spoke.
