In order to encourage people to return to the labor market more actively, it is proposed to renew twice the payment of unemployment insurance benefits for unemployed people who have registered with the Employment Service within 6 months after the termination of unemployment insurance benefits for work or self-employment. Payment of unemployment benefits would resume from the date of granting the unemployment status.
It is estimated that, if the proposals are approved, for the second renewal of the discontinued unemployment benefit payment, more than 6,000 unemployed would acquire the additional right to renew the unemployment benefit per year.
Social security unemployment benefit is granted to people who have at least 12 months of experience in social security unemployment in the last 30 months before the date of registration with the Employment Service. Social security unemployment benefit is paid for 9 months.
This benefit consists of two parts: fixed and variable.
