January 8 A Boeing 737 aircraft on Ukrainian international routes was shot down. Iranian forces said the plane was mistakenly shot down when it was mistaken for a missile as relations between Iran and the United States increased. The 176 people who flew on this plane were killed.
“CVR data, including data related to the incident, was recovered successfully,” BEA said in the Monday account, referring to voice recordings from the pilots’ office of the crashed plane.
BEA did not disclose the content of the audio. These recordings listen to the voices of the pilots and other sounds in the cockpit. The release of the new information will be regulated by Iranian officials who are leading the investigation, a BEA spokesman said.
The decryption of the data, carried out by Iranian researchers and supervised by experts from Canada, the United States, Sweden and the United Kingdom, should last most of this week.
In June, Iran agreed to send the black boxes to the BEA for analysis by the office. This is the end of a long-running dispute with Canada, Ukraine and France over data access. His mining work began Monday morning at BEA headquarters near Paris.
