The Police Department reported that on March 21, around 3 in the afternoon, at the Marijampolė Hospital in the municipality of Kalvarija. a man (born 1989) gave birth in a coma and a woman (born 1982) was put into a coma due to stab wounds. The woman was reported to be pregnant.
On Monday, Renatas Siaurusaitis, communication chief for the Marijampolė County Police Chief’s station, informed Delfi that officials are currently clarifying the circumstances of the incident and cannot comment on the situation yet.
According to preliminary data, the condition of the woman and the child has stabilized and doctors have done everything possible to endanger their lives.
