“Such a commission will be initiated by the Seimas member Petras Gražulis, a letter will be sent to the Attorney General’s Office with a request to investigate these matters, and we hope that the Seimas will form such a commission”, Naglis Puteikis, P. Gražulis’ assistant, he said at a press conference at the Seimas on Thursday.

“If the Seimas does not form such a commission and the prosecution continues to follow the politicians, the instruction of (Agnė) Bilotaitė to find some mystical organization that corrects the actions between the insurgency in the refugee camps and what happened yesterday, if the prosecution it does so, a public commission will be formed ”, he said.

Mr. Gražulis said that he had prepared questions for law enforcement officials.

The family movement previously reported that its members Adelina Sabaliauskaitė and Vitolda Račkova had been detained, although, according to the organization, they only filmed and even reassured the protesters not to throw stones.

P. Gražulis also stated that the assistant to Seimas Valdemaras member Valkiūnas Nendrė Černiauskienė had been arrested. She claimed that she claimed to have been pushed and, falling, grabbed the clothes of the man who had pushed her, for which she was arrested.

About 5,000. On Tuesday, people gathered at an authorized rally near the Seimas in Vilnius to protest against planned government restrictions for people who do not have immunity to the coronavirus and tests are not being carried out.

After the Seimas session, some of the protesters blocked the exits of the parliamentary building and the exit of the inner courtyard of the Seimas. When the officers took them from the building, riots broke out: bottles were thrown at officers, flares were fired and tear gas was used at the protesters.

The Vilnius Regional Prosecutor’s Office appealed to the court on Thursday to arrest the 26 suspects detained in the riot case. Two of these requests have already been rejected by the court, others are still pending.
