Administrative liability for non-compliance with the prohibition for drivers to use mobile devices when using them by hand (except when the engine of a stationary vehicle is switched off) is provided for in the Code of Administrative Offenses (article 417, paragraph 3). The fine ranges between 60 and 90 euros, and for this offense driving can be suspended for 1 to 3 months.
