These beasts are below trophic maturity, average to above average weight in their age class, and have medium to larger than average horns. It is forbidden to hunt such a beast.
After evaluating all the circumstances and the person’s refusal to compensate for the damage caused to nature, the case was transferred to the Prienai Chamber of the Alytus District Court for consideration, ”said Aistė Savenkovaitė, Life Protection Officer Sylvester of Alytus.
An administrative misconduct protocol was developed for a person hiding from hunting and treating a male deer. The offender faces a fine of 800 to 1800 euros for an illegal act. Damage to nature was also calculated – 6099.21 Eur.
