As a result, the woman’s story that Peter, who promised to take care of the girl, suddenly “disappeared”, according to the politician himself, is not accurate.
“I had a good talk, I stayed, I bought a lot of toys, all kinds of food. We sat down and left, I wanted to before, but I left at 9:30 pm You know, that weather, late, dark, I don’t go to go to the city or anywhere else, so I left them. I said: go to sleep, “said P. Gražulis.
However, Birutė did not fall asleep, and how 15 minutes said P. Gražulis, began to attack him with calls: “He called in the evening, invited me to come, stay with my daughter. But I told her: “You’re with your daughter and you’re leaving, but I’m not going to drive at night.”
However, on Friday morning, P. Gražulis says that he stopped at Birutė’s house because he wanted to offer to take his daughter to kindergarten. However, contact with his mother failed.
“The weather is not bad and it would be fun to walk, but I thought I could take it and take it. I called Birute, but she didn’t pick up the phone, so I went to Gargždai, ”said P. Gražulis about the course of the story.

And in Gargždai, a surprise awaited him: a call to the police. The official who called informed the Seimas member that B. Navickaitė had accused him of kidnapping his daughter and asked to go to Palanga immediately.
“I reported that they accuse me of taking the girl without Birutė knowing that she was missing. He said that the police were at home, that the boy is definitely not there. Therefore, I am also afraid of where that child is ”, P. Gražulis was surprised.
During the conversation, however, the politician was struck by the idea that the girl might be in kindergarten. It turned out that the police officers were not looking for her there yet, so P. Gražulis offered to do it himself.
“Since I was close, I mean, I can drive myself. I went in and looked, running into the kindergarten, ”said P. Gražulis.

Then she didn’t ask who brought her there. This became clear when the police questioned the educator.
“It turned out that Birutė’s neighbor took the girl to kindergarten. Thank God the educator testified, because otherwise he would be guilty again,” Fr. Gražulis was also happy.
It is true that to the question why Birutė, after having entrusted his daughter to a neighbor, then accused Petra of kidnapping, the latter could not answer, but did not deny that this could have been caused by the drunken condition of the woman.
Instead, he was able to tell what happened in B. Navickaitė’s apartment when the police and the children’s rights service came to him, because after the reports of kidnapping, he was summoned to the place.
“I was there and I saw everything, she was quite drunk and hit the officer,” P. Gražulis did not hide.
And could an official have beaten Birutė herself, as the woman said? The politician denies this version.
“It just came to our knowledge then. It certainly wasn’t. As Birutė, beating herself, showed threats, the police broke her hands and handcuffed her,” said P. Gražulis.
