According to the MEP, he appeared before the court on March 8 this year, and decided to file the lawsuit at the beginning of the year, when the current Foreign Minister did not respond to the public call of S. Jakeliūnas to refute the statements made in that moment.

“I made the decision at the end of December last year, when I wrote a summary of the year, and then I asked Mr. Landsberg publicly to explain where those sources were, where was the information on which he based those statements.” Well, despite the unofficial call, this did not happen, and then the preparation of a lawsuit started in early January, ”S. Jakeliūnas told Eltai.

The Vilnius City District Court confirmed to Eltai that S. Jakeliūnas’ claim was received on March 8. and adopted for examination on March 15th.
