Athens’ Panathinaikos (9/5) successfully concluded a successful Euroleague week, at home 92:69 (25:18, 14:14, 27:20, 26:17) broke the ALBA in Berlin (6/8).

Panathinaikos weathered a two-run drama against Real Madrid on Tuesday, but showed no fatigue in the match and were solid from the opening minutes.

The Athens club led with a 14-point advantage after three halves (66:52), but ALBA refused to raise their arms. Niels Giffey’s 3-pointer in the middle of the deciding quarter narrowed the gap to seven points (67:74).

However, the rest of the match was tragic for the German club: the attack simply stopped and Panathinaika’s 16: 0 victory turned into a landslide victory.

Panathinaikos: Ioannis Papapetrou 22 (3/7 triples), Howard Sant-Roos and Nemanja Nedovičius (3/9 triples) 13 each, Georgios Papagiannis 12 (6 reps, 4 blocks).

SUNRISE: Niels Giffey 13 (3/6 triples), Peyton Siva (6 res.) And Luke Sikma (5 res.) After 11.
