The American, who spent his entire career in his homeland, caught the attention of Barcelona last summer, but then his career did not turn to Europe and the defender tried to establish himself again in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Ferrell graduated from Indiana University in 2016, but didn’t hear his name on the NBA Rookie Exchange. In five years, he tried his hand at five league teams.
In the 2017-2018 season, the 28-year-old Dallas Mavericks defender had 10.2 points, 3 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 28 minutes. Later, however, his role declined, and last season he only made an occasional appearance for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Clippers.
