It is true that hotels and other representatives of the accommodation sector have had to solve the problem of catering, since catering services within cafes are not yet allowed.

It is true that not all accommodation establishments will open their doors to guests starting on Monday: several hotels will open from mid-June.

It is noted that some representatives of the accommodation sector used the quarantine in the complex to renovate the facilities and equipment.

According to the head of the hotel and restaurant association, some hotels close on May 11. beginning work will join from May 15, several will open in a week.

Rasa Kmitienė, director of the Palanga Tourist Information Center, stated that the increase in reservations in July, August and September is already being felt.

The director of the center said an optimistic scenario is planned, which foresees an increase in the number of guests in the complex, with more emphasis on local tourism.

It is notable that interest in the complex has been felt over the past few weekends, when people come to Palanga for an hour or several.
