Due to his actions, the guy had to be interpreted by the police and was finally found guilty of violating the rules to combat epidemics of article 177 of the Penal Code.

Tom said his COVID-19 parents got sick at Christmas and the whole family was honestly isolated.

In early January, the boy also experienced coronavirus symptoms and decided to get a checkup before returning to work.

On January 6, he was tested at a mobile station in Pakruojis, which came back positive.

“The next day a family doctor called me and told me that I was sick, that I had to isolate myself and not communicate with others. I clearly understood all these requirements, “Tomas told law enforcement.

The guy had to isolate himself until January 18, like his brother, although the latter’s test was negative.

“On January 13, I saw on the Internet that there is a campaign in favor of sushi in a cafe in Pakruojis,” Tomas recalled.

The boy decided it was necessary to order these Japanese treats to go.

“My friends don’t have a driver’s license or a car. So I asked my brother to take me shopping for sushi. I can’t explain why I drove together,” he said. “Maybe I wanted to distract myself, I no longer felt any symptoms and I thought that I would no longer infect others.”

Together with his brother, he drove to the cafe, got out of the car and smoked, and went to get sushi from the clerk.

“I really didn’t think she was in danger from the cafe staff of being able to infect her with a dangerous disease. Besides, we were all wearing masks, “he exclaimed.

On the way home, Tom called the police and asked where he was.

“I confessed that I did not adhere to self-isolation and left the house to collect food. Now I understand that I acted irresponsibly, “Tom lamented.

The boy was prosecuted for his actions. Because he pleaded guilty and repented, the story ended with a criminal warrant.

He has been sentenced to 4 months in prison and will be required from 11 pm until 6 pm to be home unless he needs to go to work.
