According to a press release, the company is considering building a new heavy oil refinery to increase efficiency and improve product quality.
The advisor to the Minister of Economy, Evelina Butkutė-Lazdauskienė, told BNS that the ministers positively evaluated the company’s plans, in addition, they discussed the possibilities of how the state could contribute to the development of said project.

We are not talking about volumes yet, but we should consider with what funds could we improve that infrastructure, making optimal use of state and EU funds ”, says R. Sinkevičius.
