Ignored request to delete
The president of the Panevėžys house said that the staircase of the apartment building is a public place, it is equipped with video surveillance cameras, there are stickers on the door. There are also signs at the entrance stating that video surveillance is taking place in the area.
The violation of public order was recorded by cameras. Information about the event was passed to Bolt’s representative office, with a request to clean and disinfect the staircase and elevator.
“Of course, immediately after the incident, the staff supervising the staircase sanitized everything, but we only received an apology from Bolt and a call to report the incident to the police.
Only a few days later, when we said that the information about this unpleasant event had been relayed to the media, Bolt’s representatives seemed to have paid off and had already agreed to reimburse at least the cost of disinfecting the staircase, “the president added.
Criminal responsibility is threatened
According to Tadas Martinaitis, Chief Specialist of the Communication Group of the Panevėžys County Main Police Station, such violation of public order is subject to criminal liability.
“The Penal Code establishes that any person who, in a public place, has disrespected others or the environment through disturbance of public order, vandalism or alteration of public order or punishment, will be punished with community service, fine, restriction of freedom or detention, or a prison sentence of up to two years ”, emphasized the specialist.
Such behavior is not tolerated.
Representatives of the Bolt administration were also informed about this unpleasant incident in one of the Panevėžys apartment buildings.

Like all freelancers, couriers are committed not only to provide a proper food delivery service, but also to comply with the law and respect the property of others, ”explained R.Savičius to the JP news portal.
“We do not tolerate misconduct by couriers, and if it turns out that the person delivering the food has acted improperly or violated the law, we cooperate with the police officers and block the courier’s account.
In this case, the courier who violated the rules can no longer provide services using the Bolt Food platform, ”added the head of the food delivery service.
