The industrial space of the Smoke Factory dictates its tone: the democratic atmosphere allows you to relax and show your true face. Going overboard with makeup or dressing up has not been in fashion for a long time, but there will never be too many original characters. That was confirmed yesterday by the spectators: the eccentric performance of Alen Chicco and the twerk dancers on the train did not leave anyone indifferent!
On Saturday there was a no less energetic show. Morta Nakaitė, Vaida Voraitė, who is studying in Norway, and Lina Misėkaitė, the winner of the Injection contest, are demonstrating their collections. Laima Jurča, a Latvian who impressed Lithuanians last year, this time presents the collection together with artist Marta Veinberga, whose paintings have become the basis for graphic motifs on clothing. Marta Veinberga’s works are created from things that are recognizable to all residents of the Baltic countries (and not only to them): stickers distributed in supermarkets, gas stations and quick-buy stores. Sandra Straukaitė is intrigued by the concept of clothing-hybrids, and the final of the festival has been entrusted to Saimonas Tartenis, who has returned from London and promised to tear down the roof of the factory.
A group of people sympathetic to style and fashion gathered for the “Fashion Infection” that will take place on Saturday.
On Sunday, the final of young fashion talents “Injection” awaits the most loyal fashion fans. Although everyone is used to seeing fashion in the dark, on Sunday the action will take place in the light of day, a unique opportunity to see the territory and the podium of the “Smoke Factory” with different eyes, to look at others and show himself, the event will start at 14:00.
